Zusammenfassung

Trading 212 is expanding its Compliance Team in Germany. We seek a senior professional to lead MiFID-related compliance, ensuring BaFin-aligned operations and excellent governance.

You will advise on products, outsourcing, conduct risk, and policies, coordinating with Legal and cross-functional teams. Requirements include a degree in Law/Finance/Business, 5+ years in compliance, and fluency in English (German a plus).

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in compliance within a MiFID-regulated firm.
• Educated to degree level in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• English proficiency; German is a strong advantage.
• At least five years in a compliance-focused role with senior responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and BaFin guidelines.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to deliver under pressure.
• Experience coordinating across time zones in international environments.

What You'll Do

• Ensure operational excellence in all relevant compliance areas while aligning with BaFin’s regulatory guidelines.
• Provide expert compliance advice on current and future products, services, and overarching compliance topics such as product governance, vulnerable customers, conflict of interest, outsourcing, and conduct risk.
• Support and drive compliance projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver results within agreed timelines.
• Oversee the financial promotions review process, ensuring all materials meet regulatory standards.
• Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures, ensuring effective implementation across the organization.
• Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, offering tailored compliance guidance to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Legal team to manage regulatory interactions, including the relationship with BaFin.

What You Need To Have

• Proven experience in compliance, with a track record of driving operational excellence within a MiFID‑regulated firm.
• Educated to degree level in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in English, with German language skills considered a strong advantage.
• At least five years of experience in a compliance‑focused role, with exposure to senior responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and guidelines, particularly those relevant to BaFin.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to take ownership and deliver under pressure.
• Experience working in international environments, coordinating across different time zones using digital tools.
