To support our new digitalization team in Ulm, we are hiring a motivated software developer with great interest in cloud engineering. In the Cloud Applications team, we work on architectures of distributed systems, software development of services, browser user interfaces, data streaming, infrastructure as code, APIs, and data storage—using public cloud providers. We collaborate in interdisciplinary product teams with data science, IoT edge, and native mobile app colleagues within modern agile frameworks. We seek candidates with expertise in state-of-the-art techniques to address the technical challenges of our products.

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

• M.Sc. in Computer Science with at least 7 years of experience in Go, Java, or .NET software development.
• Proficiency in developing distributed software, cloud mechanisms, tooling, and providers (Azure, AWS, Containers, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, continuous integration, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with storage technologies (SQL DB, NoSQL DB, Data Lake, etc.).
• Familiarity with Clean Code principles, Peer Review, and Pair Programming.
• High motivation and ability to collaborate in agile teams.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German and English.
