Senior Cloud Security Architect (m / f / d)
Your responsibilities
- Identify relevant cybersecurity trends (e.g., regulations, threat scenarios, technological advancements) and align them with business strategies and cloud architecture development, translating requirements into technical security architectures in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create group-wide risk assessments for technical security architectures (costs, benefits, risk minimization, etc.) and derive recommendations for security technology adjustments or implementations.
- Manage stakeholders continuously across business and IT to identify action areas, develop and implement IT security solutions (especially Cloud Security Management), and present findings to group-wide working groups and the IT board.
- Develop high-level security architectures from requirements to technological measures and roadmaps, deriving low-level security solutions by adhering to cybersecurity standards and establishing configuration standards for cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), supporting implementation as a Subject Matter Expert with external IT service providers or DHL IT Services.
- Validate cloud infrastructure security regularly, recommend enhancements to mitigate risks, and implement best practices based on ISO and NIST frameworks.
Your profile
- Completed university degree, preferably in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Extensive professional experience in IT security management, particularly in cloud and flexible workload management domains.
- Deep expertise in information technology, ideally with relevant security architect certifications.
- Knowledge in information security, evidenced by certifications like Certified Information Security Manager or similar.
- Skills in improving business processes, such as Six Sigma or similar certifications.
- Experience designing and implementing innovative security architectures.
- Proficiency in German and English.
- Flexibility for up to 3 days/week remote work and flexible hours without core hours.
