Nintendo Co., Ltd., headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, has been providing entertainment products since 1889. We are seeking a Senior Cloud Network Specialist to join our team in Frankfurt am Main. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud and enterprise network solutions to support our global gaming operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, document, and optimize cloud and enterprise network solutions.
- Administer and maintain cloud-based and on-premise IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud networking components and infrastructure services.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders.
- Analyze system performance, security, and reliability, recommending improvements.
- Ensure secure and efficient network operations, including IP management, routing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud computing, automation, and network security.
- Contribute to internal and cross-functional projects to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering).
- Strong knowledge of network standards and architectures.
- Experience with networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, VPN.
- Experience managing enterprise network environments with core services such as VPN, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, SD-WAN, OSPF, BGP.
- Profound knowledge of routing and global peering.
- Experience with SDN and SD-WAN.
- Skills in automation, IaC, scripting, and cloud programming.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls and policies.
- Solution-oriented, structured thinking, and innovative mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to work in a senior role based on experience.
