What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior Cloud-Native Developer (f/m/d) to join our team in owning and shaping the future of key services in SAP's Business Technology Platform. Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating in the research, design, and implementation of advanced features for SAP Business Technology Platform's cloud solutions.
• Ensuring timely, high-quality delivery for projects by committing to timelines and scope.
• Leading and managing backlog items, providing mentorship to developers.
• Developing and enhancing automation tests, monitoring, and improving service performance and security.
• Overseeing the lifecycle from requirements to deployment, including 24/7 support shifts.
• Reviewing and maintaining code quality; introducing new technologies or refactoring as needed.

What you bring

• University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related, with 5+ years of development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, C++, Node.js, and knowledge of cloud-native paradigms and container tech like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with debugging and monitoring distributed systems using tools like Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong ability to learn new technologies, good communication skills, results-driven, self-motivated, capable of independent and team work.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Beneficial: Experience with computer networking and high-scale network traffic.
