(Senior) Cloud Developer - Central Services - STACKIT (m/f/d)

With our server locations exclusively in Germany and Austria, we offer both the Schwarz Group, to which we belong, and external customers a European alternative to international cloud providers and support our customers holistically with individual solutions.

As a dedicated STACKITEER, you are part of the STACKIT Products division. This is where our products and services are developed, tested and improved. In the Central Services division, we develop platform services for our customers. Today, these include our open source Observability solution, our Key Management System, STACKIT Secrets Manager, STACKIT DNS and, most recently, the STACKIT Data and AI Platform. We are looking for people like you: you will help us to provide only the best products for our customers and contribute with all your ideas.

Your Responsibilities

• You develop highly available cloud services together with your team.
• You develop REST APIs via which our customers control the service lifecycle.
• You develop Kubernetes Operators to automate the lifecycle of cloud services.
• You continuously automate and optimize all technical processes.
• You have a high demand for software quality and ensure this by implementing automated unit and integration tests.
• You take responsibility in the agile product team: You Build It - You Run It!
• You competently carry out in-depth root cause analyses and identify sustainable solutions that you also directly implement.

Your Profile

Your heart beats for agile software development and state-of-the-art cloud technologies. Your focus is on software development and Kubernetes and you already feel at home in cloud environments. You impress us with your sound knowledge of programming with Golang. You have already gained valuable experience with common IDEs and associated developer tools, e.g. Git, Docker, ArgoCD, etc. You are no stranger to products and services such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki or Thanos. You are passionate about staying up-to-date with relevant technologies and can put them into practice. You have experience in applying the 12 Factor principles. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with other team members.
