Job Description

As a Senior Cloud Performance Tester in the Cloud Commerce performance team, you will play a crucial role in performance testing end-to-end. Your responsibilities include preparing performance frameworks, executing tests, scalability and load testing, performance measurement, and reporting. You will also mentor junior team members and collaborate with Performance Architects on customer escalations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with development teams to measure performance, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize performance.
2. Develop performance test scripts and execute testing within Jenkins pipelines, measuring end-to-end and API-level performance.
3. Support test data creation and automate data uploads.
4. Identify performance bottlenecks, suggest tuning, and share observations with stakeholders and development teams.
5. Work with team members on database performance testing (e.g., PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Hyperscale).
6. Maintain performance dashboards and the Performance Results Repository (PRR) for reporting.
7. Share best practices and conduct knowledge sharing sessions with junior team members.
8. Innovate testing methodologies, including implementing AI-driven performance analysis tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps cloud concepts.
• Proficiency in JMeter scripting.
• Basic understanding of GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure cloud portal.
• Good knowledge of Java and SQL.
• Knowledge of Grafana, Dynatrace, and load testing tools like LoadRunner.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability in EU and APJ time zones.
