Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Cloud & AI Solution Architect to join Tencent Cloud International’s growing team in London, Amsterdam, or Frankfurt. In this client‑facing technical role, you will support our business development efforts, from initial customer engagement through solution design. You will evaluate technical requirements, advise on architecture, and formulate comprehensive cloud and AI solutions. As a key liaison, you will coordinate with Tencent Cloud’s product and engineering teams—primarily based in China and internationally—to leverage deep expertise and secure the right resources for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Technical Consulting & Enablement: Provide professional services, including business technology consultation, cloud solution training, and technical enablement to support Tencent Cloud’s international growth.
• Solution Design & Migration: Collaborate with international architects and partners to design architecture on the Tencent Cloud platform, guide customers and partners through system migration to the cloud, and support the development of applications and services on our platform.
• Pre‑sales & Project Coordination: Coordinate cross‑functional resources from product, service, and operations teams to provide robust pre‑sales technical support for key partner projects and strategic opportunities.
• Ecosystem & Knowledge Development: Participate in building and structuring Tencent Cloud’s global technology partner ecosystem, summarizing and documenting technical solutions and industry‑specific use cases.

Qualifications

• Education & Core Experience: A bachelor’s degree or higher, with over five years of hands‑on experience in public or private cloud environments, and a solid understanding of major cloud technologies and solutions.
• Technical Breadth: Professional experience in at least two of the following domains: Software Development (proficient in Java, Python, or similar), System Operations & Maintenance, System Integration, Solution Design, Technical Consulting, Enterprise IT Systems & Architecture Management, Big Data, or related areas.
• Communication & Engagement: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build trust with customer stakeholders at all levels—from business leaders and technical decision‑makers to front‑line engineers.
• Mindset & Approach: A strong customer‑centric mindset, a rigorous and detail‑oriented work ethic, and a deep sense of responsibility. Proven self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership and proactive attitude.
• Language Skills: Fluent English is mandatory. Proficiency in a major European language (e.g., German, Dutch, Spanish, or Portuguese) and/or Mandarin Chinese is a significant plus.
