Alibaba Cloud Intelligence is seeking a Senior GenAI Solutions Architect to design and deploy production-grade AI/ML infrastructures in Germany and Europe Central. You will architect end-to-end GenAI solutions with LLMs, RAG, and multi-modal workloads, integrating with the company’s MaaS and AI ecosystem.

You will engage with European enterprises and startups, delivering PoCs, demos, and scalable architectures while ensuring GDPR, data sovereignty, and EU AI Act compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Cloud AI/ML Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales.
• Deep hands-on familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG, and vector databases.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face, Transformers).
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge with experience in at least one hyperscaler (Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent ability to translate complex AI concepts to developers and business stakeholders.
• Full professional fluency in German and English (resume should include German proficiency).

Alibaba Cloud is looking for a Senior GenAI Solutions Architect to be the technical pioneer for our Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) and AI ecosystem in Germany and Europe Central. In this role, you won't just talk about AI—you will design and deploy production-grade architectures using our powerful Qwen (Tongyi) LLM ecosystem, Platform for AI (PAI), and Elastic Algorithm Service (EAS).

Positioned at the intersection of deep technical engineering and strategic business development, you will partner with leading European enterprises and AI-native startups to bring next-generation AI workloads to life.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Architect GenAI Solutions: Design end-to-end AI/ML infrastructures leveraging Alibaba Cloud MaaS. You will build cutting-edge reference architectures for LLM fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), multi-modal AI, and advanced inference optimization.
• Drive Technical Engagement: Act as the trusted AI advisor to C-level executives and engineering leads. Lead technical discovery, deliver high-impact product demonstrations, and build robust Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that solve complex business problems.
• Navigate European Compliance: Ensure all designed architectures seamlessly align with European data sovereignty, GDPR, and the EU AI Act framework.
• Ecosystem Innovation: Build reusable tech assets, code samples, and best-practice guides. Champion field feedback directly to our global R&D and product teams to help localize and evolve our global AI roadmap.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

The Must-Haves:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Cloud AI/ML Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales.
• GenAI Expertise: Deep, hands-on familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs). You know the ins and outs of prompt engineering, fine-tuning methodologies, RAG architectures, and vector databases.
• The Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and standard ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Hugging Face, Transformers).
• Cloud Infrastructure: Solid understanding of core cloud computing (compute, storage, networking) with experience in at least one major hyperscaler (Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Communication & Culture: Exceptional ability to translate complex AI concepts to both software developers and business stakeholders.
• Languages: Full professional fluency in both German and English is required for this role（Your resume should include your German language proficiency level).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Active involvement in MLOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working closely with the fast-paced AI startup ecosystem or driving AI transformation in large enterprises.
