About The Role

As our Senior Category Manager, you’ll play a critical leadership role in shaping and accelerating the Home category across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria (DACH). You will partner with the Head of Home to create and deliver integrated marketing and commercial strategies designed to drive sales growth, expand market share, and strengthen Dyson’s brand equity. Your remit spans crafting impactful, competitor-beating brand communications, owning business outcomes—including co-owning the category P&L and shaping budgets and investments—and championing innovation through data-driven insights and a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaboration will be at the heart of your role, as you work closely with cross-functional teams including PR, Communications, Digital, E-commerce, Retail, and Finance, and lead on everything from campaign creation to product launches and performance reviews. As a people leader, you will inspire and develop your team, fostering a high-performance environment defined by empowerment, learning, and growth.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Delivering integrated marketing and commercial strategies for the Home category in DACH, driving sales growth and ensuring all brand messaging aligns with Dyson’s positioning across every channel.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to build and execute impactful campaigns across platforms including TV, digital, in-store, and events, while forging strong partnerships across PR, Communications, and Digital.
  • Leveraging consumer, market, and competitor data to inform strategy, highlight opportunities for category innovation and growth, and actively reviewing performance with leadership to optimize business objectives.
  • Steering product ranging, forecasting, and partnering with e-commerce and retail teams to guarantee successful launches, availability, and market-leading execution.
  • Managing budgets, investments, and the category P&L to maximize commercial impact in partnership with Finance.
  • Empowering, developing, and inspiring your team, focusing on continuous feedback, growth, and succession.
  • Leading special projects and cross-functional initiatives to drive category leadership and embed Dyson’s values.
  • Promoting a culture of experimentation, knowledge sharing, and agility, proactively driving improvements in how we work and succeed.
About you
  • At least 5 years’ experience in marketing or category management, with a history of successful product launches
  • Experience in brand management and cross-channel marketing communications
  • Working proficiency in German, with strong skills in both written and spoken communication
  • Skill in marketing analysis, financial planning, and ROI evaluation
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo and deliver innovative solutions
  • An effective communicator, presenter, and influencer
  • Passionate about marketing, with strong knowledge of market trends
  • Experience in media or e-commerce is a plus
  • Background in line management/team leadership preferred
  • Strategic, collaborative, and eager to learn
  • A confident team player with a positive, supportive attitude
