Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies focusing on cost opportunities and long-term value.
- Analyze spend data and supplier performance to identify cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, finance, and value stream teams to ensure sourcing decisions align with project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing structures that meet business goals and cost targets.
- Manage supplier relationships and in-contract supplier management, ensuring performance and resolving commercial issues.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks within the supply chain to ensure continuity and resilience.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field.
- Experience as a Senior Buyer in a regulated or complex industry, with expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering value.
- Results-oriented, passionate about driving change, and capable of solving complex problems with a strong analytical mindset.
- Fluent in German and English, with confident negotiation skills in both languages.
