We are seeking a proactive Business Development Specialist with a strong background in web3/crypto and finance. This role involves working across multiple areas, reporting directly to the Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development or sales roles, focusing on attracting and negotiating with crypto projects for token listing, fundraising initiatives, and partnering with KOLs and media.
Requirements include fluency in both German and English and residence in Berlin or Zurich.
What you might be doing :
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and expand our network across Europe. Leverage existing networks for SwissBorg’s strategic goals.
- Token Listings: Identify, meet, and attract projects to list their tokens on the SwissBorg app. Lead negotiations and seek solutions for successful listings.
- Fundraising Collaboration: Engage with crypto projects raising funds, promote our flagship product, Alpha. Help attract long-term investors and provide our users with investment opportunities.
- Strategic Growth: Contribute to SwissBorg’s growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within web3 and finance sectors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development, and customer support to align efforts and drive objectives.
- Market Analysis: Identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape within web3 and finance industries.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on activities, progress, and results.
What you might bring :
- Experience: 3-5 years in business development or sales, with prior experience in web3/blockchain.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of blockchain, DeFi, and crypto ecosystems.
- Sales Acumen: Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets and driving growth.
- Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships, with an existing network preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong skills in interpreting data and making informed decisions.
- Emotional Intelligence: High relationship management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in German and English.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Economics, or related; MBA is a plus.
- Passion: Interest in the future of finance and web3’s role in transforming systems.
