Responsibilities

  1. Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within the German market, targeting both new and existing customers;
  2. Develop business and regulatory plans for the German market and achieve operational objectives;
  3. Identify opportunities from marketing leads, communicate with, and manage local business partners;
  4. Understand market information and report to the company headquarters promptly;
  5. Collaborate with other departments to establish operational processes for the German market;
  6. Build brand awareness of the company and its products in Germany;
  7. Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing all customer inquiries.

Qualifications / Skills

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales within molecular pathology or IVD-related markets;
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, or Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus;
  3. Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience is preferred;
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  5. Strategic and creative thinking with meticulous execution and operational excellence;
  6. Energetic with strong motivation to identify new business opportunities quickly;
  7. Familiarity with the business model of selling imported products in Europe;
  8. Fluent in English; proficiency in German (spoken and listening) is highly desirable.
