Job Description:

What you will enjoy doing

1. Lead the development of new large project investment opportunities for Linde, focusing on Clean Hydrogen in the EMEA region.
2. Drive the maturation of opportunities from concept to final investment decision, including developing acceptable commercial structures and modeling key financial KPIs.
3. Utilize understanding of markets, competitive landscape, regulatory frameworks (RFNBO, CBAM, etc.), customer/industry trends, and the Clean Hydrogen value chain to develop investment opportunities.
4. Connect with internal and external stakeholders, steering engagements to facilitate timely decisions.
5. Lead cross-functional teams to develop safe, technical, and commercial concepts aligned with Linde's offerings to customers and partners.
6. Negotiate and close long-term supply agreements, ensuring value is maintained during T&Cs negotiations.

What makes you great

1. Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a similar technical discipline; postgraduate qualification in business or marketing is a plus.
2. Have over 5 years of relevant experience in the Industrial Gas business, managing complex projects and leading high-performing teams across multiple functions.
3. Strong project management skills, leading workstreams, ensuring accountability, and tracking deliverables.
4. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities within tight timelines.
5. Good commercial skills and experience in developing investment opportunities.
6. Proven experience in customer relationship development, with key leadership attributes such as strong communication, interpersonal skills, trust-building, resourcefulness, and proactivity.
7. Understanding or experience in the renewables industry is a plus.
