Role Overview

The Business Development Manager oversees the implementation of business objectives within sales, marketing, and business development teams. Responsibilities include analyzing sales performance against targets, delegating tasks, and engaging with upper management on progress.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify new business opportunities and potential markets with expected revenue over 3-5 years.
2. Develop and manage relationships with external partners and ecosystems.
3. Facilitate growth opportunities through strategic partnerships.
4. Support ad hoc business reporting on opportunities, markets, and trends.
5. Represent the company at tradeshows and conferences.
6. Create and publish articles and presentations for brand development.
7. Present to internal executive management.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years in engineering or equivalent role.
• 2+ years in business development or marketing roles.
• 12-15 years in the semiconductor industry with a manufacturer.
• 2+ years experience with microcontrollers or firmware products.
• Strong influencing skills within matrix organizations.
• International travel experience across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
• Ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Experience publishing material for tradeshows, conferences, or publications.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% internationally.
