Amazon Pay is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase penetration among a defined portfolio of strategic merchants. This role requires working with complex, long deal cycles to achieve sales targets. As a senior member of the Sales team, this individual will influence and drive priorities across various cross-functional internal stakeholders, driving long-term business impact.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute sales strategy for emerging verticals through direct and channel-sales motions
  2. Build strategic relationships with merchants up to C-suite level and with partners to accelerate impact
  3. Generate a deep understanding of vertical needs and pain points and influence cross-functionally to address key issues
  4. Own forecasting and monitor vertical pipeline performance, analyze trends, and provide insights to optimize performance, including measuring and reporting on key inputs and outputs in Salesforce and other systems
  5. Communicate results with senior leadership regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers
  6. Manage complex contract negotiations

German language proficiency at Business Fluency Level is required.
