Senior Business Controller

The Senior Business Controller position will support the Director and the department of Sales & Operation Germany (S&O GER) within the BU EMobility with all business controlling tasks including month-end close preparation and reporting plant performance (business plan forecast and KPIs follow-up) processes and ad-hoc financial analysis. Additionally, with your local controlling expertise, you will serve as an advisor towards the BU Controller of EMobility in specific or overarching BU controlling topics.

Key responsibilities & activities:

1. Responsible for all business controlling topics concerning EMobility departments in S&O GER including but not limited to:
2. Ensure the accuracy of the P&L structure ensuring financial data is correctly booked and aligned.
3. Drive month-end close through accrual preparation and coordination with accounting on key topics.
4. Prepare monthly management reporting delivering clear insights on financial performance.
5. Actively participate in the S&O GER MT meetings by acting as a financial partner challenging and supporting with business decisions.
6. Prepare financial forecasts by translating business input into accurate forward-looking financials.
7. Lead the local business plan process together with local Management Team ensuring alignment of financial goals.
8. Support in preparation and monitoring of KPIs to track business performance.
9. Support the local units' growth by advising on financial aspects of new initiatives, improvements, and other strategic decisions.
10. As advisor to BU Controller, you support and challenge BU controlling governance and run specific initiatives or ad-hoc analysis.
11. As Senior Business Controller EMobility, you report to the Director of Business Control EMobility who is accountable for the overall controlling support of the Business unit.

Qualifications:

Your profile and soft skills:

1. Ideal candidate has 5 years of experience within Business Controlling, Financial Analysis, or Commercial Project Management.
2. Bachelor's and ideally Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar education.
3. You are a team player and natural networker with experience from working in a challenging and high-paced business environment.
4. You have proven ability to establish trust and build relationships.
5. You are proactive, constructive, and solution-oriented.
6. You have strong Excel and presentation skills; SAP experience.
7. You have high analytical skills with an eye for details.
8. Full professional fluency in English and German is required.
9. Experience from the utility business is a strong merit.
