You will work on a project for a leading global manufacturer specializing in braking systems and safety-critical solutions for rail and commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct requirements gathering with the customer team using workshops, interviews, prototyping, and workflow analysis.
- Lead sessions to identify automation opportunities and document current/future state business processes, including their impact on Supply Chain operations.
- Prioritize processes for automation by applying the right criteria and calculating ROI.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in Supply Chain and assist the presales team with functional aspects of supply chain management.
- Prepare presentation decks, ranging from high-level overviews to detailed technical explanations of data flows.
- Ensure that requirements align with business objectives and automation solution design.
- Communicate requirements clearly to stakeholders, including solution designers and developers.
- Serve as a project driver, collaborating with program leads, technology, support, and customers.
- Work closely with developers and business teams to ensure development aligns with requirements.
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
- Review deliverables against acceptance criteria.
- Ensure CoE standards, best practices, and controls are followed and automated using platform capabilities.
- Oversee the implementation team, managing end-to-end delivery and acting as the client SPOC.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in Business Analysis or as a Functional Consultant in the Supply Chain industry.
- Strong technical background to create proper functional requirements and detailed specifications.
- Functional experience interfacing with ERPs (Oracle, SAP, BOSS, Microsoft Dynamics, or other primary ERP systems) & CRM systems.
- Extensive experience in SCM lifecycle and related functions such as Planning, Sourcing, Order Management, Fleet Management, Warehouse Management, Vendor Onboarding, Communication Management, and License Management.
- Experience preparing standard and ad-hoc presentation decks specific to SCM topics/functions.
- Expertise in business analysis methodologies, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, UAT, and documentation.
- Agile/Scrum experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, Quadrant Mapping, and documentation of IPA, BRD, FRD, RTM, PDD, etc.
- Understanding of RPA tools like Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism is a plus.
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams; capable of writing detailed functional specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to lead initiatives without formal authority.
