About the role

As a Business Analyst, you play an essential role within the project. Your main mission is to understand the client and project needs and bring your expertise to build next-generation solutions in an agile Scrum/DevOps environment, collaborating with international and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

1. Take responsibility for projects from the beginning and serve as the interface between customers, developers, and stakeholders.
2. Help customers identify their needs and assist in creating and structuring requirements.
3. Incorporate industry and business-specific requirements into concepts and prepare requirements for technical implementation.
4. Assess project feasibility based on your understanding of technical concepts and solutions.
5. Understand customer challenges and consider their long-term strategy to identify new opportunities.
6. Own the project, manage the product backlog, define requirements, and set priorities with the customer.
7. Ensure the setup is conducive to successful product delivery.
8. Support Sales and Business Development with concepts and proposals for new projects.

Essential Experience

• Strong interpersonal, communication, intercultural, and people skills.
• Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field with relevant experience.
• 6-8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Understanding of business processes, process analysis, and optimization.
• Experience with early lifecycle stages of DXP projects and platforms like SAP CX, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Optimizely, Contentstack, or Contentful.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques and writing user stories.
• Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written.
