As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead and work closely with business users in gathering requirements and analyzing data to support business cases, project plans, and system requirements for software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the midstream value chain, including pipeline operations, storage facilities, and transportation logistics.
This role focuses on developing and documenting functional business requirements, consulting on business processes, supporting system implementations, and leading process improvement projects in line with Information Technology standard methodologies.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Conduct strategic analysis and planning by examining midstream operations and developing strategies to optimize transportation, storage, and processing of oil and gas.
- Manage and report on data by analyzing large datasets related to midstream operations and developing reports and dashboards to monitor performance metrics.
- Lead initiatives to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency, managing multiple projects to ensure timely, within-budget completion with high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate between technical teams and business partners, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitoring progress.
- Engage with stakeholders by acting as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clear communication of requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, including vendors and regulators.
- Write and review project documentation such as business requirements, process flows, and data flows.
- Analyze business and user needs, assisting teams in planning and designing processes and systems.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science
- At least 10 years of experience in business analysis within the oil and gas industry, focusing on midstream operations
- A proven track record of leading key initiatives and delivering impactful results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of midstream operations, including pipeline management, storage, and logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and leadership skills, and experience managing multi-functional teams
- A balanced technical and business perspective to help teams analyze and deliver on business needs
- Experience with product development and release cycles in a Professional Services/Technology Solutions environment, especially with distributed and overseas teams
