Stark Defence is looking for a Senior Accountant in Berlin to manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with HGB, in collaboration with external tax advisors. The role includes general ledger accounting, reconciliations, VAT returns, and supporting NetSuite implementation.

You will review transactions for accurate financial representation, work with auditors and tax consultants, and drive digitalization of accounting processes.

Formación

• Completed vocational training as a Financial Accountant or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB) accounting standards and experience preparing annual financial statements and tax returns.
• Hands-on experience in financial accounting and proficiency with NetSuite and MS Office.
• Precise, proactive, and structured approach with a focus on process improvements.
• Team spirit and a service-oriented mindset.

• You support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) in collaboration with external tax advisors.
• You share responsibility for ongoing general ledger accounting, including account reconciliations and the preparation of advance VAT returns.

Required Skills

• You have completed vocational training as a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) or hold an equivalent qualification.
• You possess sound knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB) accounting standards and have experience preparing annual financial statements and tax returns.
• You bring hands-on experience in financial accounting and are proficient in using NetSuite and MS Office.
• Precision, personal initiative, and a structured approach to work are among your key strengths.
