A leading workplace technology firm in Germany seeks a Senior Engineer to leverage full-stack development skills with a backend focus. This role drives the Product Engineering process, shaping the future of employee workplace management solutions. The ideal candidate will lead product design, mentor team members, and improve product velocity. Experience in mentoring and problem solving is crucial for this influential position in a high-growth environment.
Envoy Workplace launched in May 2023 and has become Envoy's fastest-growing revenue stream, expected to continue its rapid growth.
Envoy is transforming modern workplaces for hybrid work, enabling people to connect, collaborate, and thrive. Its workplace platform software has redefined visitor management, employee safety, desk and conference room booking, and delivery management across over 20,000 locations worldwide. Companies like Slack, Pinterest, and Warby Parker rely on Envoy to create an exceptional first impression and ensure smooth office operations. We are backed by investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Menlo Ventures, Initialized Capital, and Brookfield Growth.
This team is the core features team for Workplace and is responsible for the product’s success and failure.
We seek a senior engineer who is capable of full-stack development but prefers a backend focus. Senior engineers lead major product features, design systems, and mentor others. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage, high-growth product and influence its direction.
Since the pandemic, Envoy has expanded into employee workplace management, including features like Scheduling, Desk Reservations, Conference Room Management, Occupancy Analytics, Badging and Access Control, Mapping, and Health & Safety tracking.
We want this individual to drive the end-to-end Product Engineering process: problem definition, solution exploration, system design, coding, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
Additionally, we value someone passionate about improving "Product Velocity"—the speed of shipping new products—by creating clean abstractions and systems that enable the team to move quickly without increasing hours.
