For our client, a leading company in its sector (elearning), we are searching for a Senior Python Backend Engineer (f/m/d) as soon as possible.

Your job:

• Development of the learning platform
• Always serve colleagues and customers as a sparring partner with subject matter expertise
• Leverage cutting-edge web technologies to provide the best possible experience for users learning programming languages and algorithms to become Data Scientists or AI experts
• Working with Python-based applications on the larger scale
• Willing to share your experience with a team of younger engineers and build-up these best practises together with them.

Your profile:

• 4y+ experience in software engineering
• Good experience with Python as a backend language, experience specifically with the Django framework is a plus
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and developing RESTful Services, API-Design and documentation
• Experience with quality automation tools, test automation tools such as pytest and CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with team leadership responsibility or technical leadership is a huge plus
• Bonus points for experience with DevOps/cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform etc.
• B - C-Level German and fluent English
