Taktile is seeking a hands-on software engineer to join our internal platform team in Berlin. You will focus on accelerating the path from first commit to production with solid Python backend skills, and you will contribute to scalable CI/CD processes and AWS‑based services.
You will own an in-house AI agent that analyzes CI failures, opens pull requests, and supports a sandboxed environment for Claude Code and OpenCode used by the team.
This is a hands-on software role on an internal platform team, focused on making the path from first commit to production faster and safer. It asks for solid backend skills (mainly Python), real experience running CI/CD at scale, and good knowledge of AWS and serverless. A strong candidate also treats fellow engineers as customers, measures results, and can steer changes across teams they do not manage.
AI coding agents have sped up writing code, so the slow parts are now builds, tests, reviews and deploys, and this role goes after exactly that. Tools need to be fast and predictable so both engineers and AI agents can trust the feedback they get. Judgment about what to fix, how to roll out changes safely, and how to win over teams stays with people.
The role includes owning an in-house AI agent that looks into CI failures and opens pull requests, plus a sandboxed setup for Claude Code and OpenCode used across the engineering team. That is practical experience in running agents reliably for a whole organisation. Since the company serves banks and insurers, safe deployment practices such as canary stages and quick rollbacks add to the learning.

An AI decision platform banks and insurers use for credit, fraud, and claims calls, with a human still in the loop.
