About This Role

As Sr. Associate, People Operations, you’ll provide operational support across the People Ops function, ensuring efficiency, compliance and scalability in processes.

This role will act as a key partner to the Sr. Manager, People Ops, and key stakeholders within the People team in building the next phase of operational infrastructure as we sprint towards our ambitious goals. You will also act as a cross-functional resource for various teams, supporting an engaged, metrics driven and highly efficient culture.

Success in this role looks like enabling a deeper understanding of the business and helping scale People initiatives through a phase of massive growth and beyond by building systems that drive operational excellence, empower informed decision-making, and provide seamless support to enhance the functions strategic impact.

What You’ll Own

  • Act as a key figure in the development and execution of People Ops processes, leveraging automation and system efficiencies to maximize scalability.
  • Serve as an efficiency driver within the People team by managing reporting, process coordination, and providing leverage that supports strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain and analyze People data to identify trends, support process improvements, and help leaders make informed decisions about workforce planning and employee experience.
  • Own and drive compliance initiatives across core People processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to People Ops policies, benefits, payroll, and compliance while maintaining a seamless employee experience.
  • Develop, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new and existing People Operations processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Maintain HR system data integrity by building audit processes, and enabling accurate reporting, record-keeping and compliance.
  • Be an in-house expert in Rippling reporting. Serving as the first point of contact for People data requests.
  • Partner with analytics and leadership to evaluate benefits utilization and cost trends, providing insights on employee enrollment, engagement, and opportunities to enhance offerings.
  • Act as a project manager within the people team to drive infrastructure development and process enhancements
  • Partner with people managers to administer scheduling and time & attendance processes
  • Manage HR mail and maintain proper documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws by staying up to date on employment regulations, assisting with policy implementation, and supporting audits and reporting requirements.
  • Take ownership of drafting and upkeep of company policies and employee resources in partnership with People leadership

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in People Operations or Human Resources.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of HR systems, a strong preference for prior Rippling experience!
  • Previous experience with people analytics with a strong working knowledge of benefits trends and compensation planning.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in Google Suite and Slack (experience with Notion and Asana is a plus!).
  • Strong confidentiality skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • A love of dogs!
