(Senior) Associate Financial Services Risk Management and Credit (f/m/d)

A team of experts supports our clients such as tier 1 credit institutions, leasing companies, fintechs or asset managers within the financial services industry. Hereby we provide customized and best in class audit and advisory services locally on the ground and leverage our global network for international collaborations. WHAT TO EXPECT:
  • As a member of a specialist team, you will work in the risk management and/or credit divisions of BDO Financial Services. You will enjoy a dynamic and international environment with a strong focus on diverse and individual career pathways.
  • Working with financial institutions in risk management, you will deal with topics such as overall business strategy, the management of individual risk types in their ICAAP, risk quantification, as well as stress testing.
  • You will work on comprehensive credit processes which are built on product knowledge and your interest in economic developments, as well as a variety of banking business models.
  • Through the links between the core business of credit institutions and the associated risks, you will deepen your industry knowledge so that you can grow into a management role. Sharpen your existing analytical and consulting know-how, as well as your presentation and project management skills.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
  • You completed your Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business law, business mathematics and as a senior have more than 2 years of relevant practical experience in relevant areas in the financial services sector and have worked increasingly with banks and capital markets, securities, derivatives or risk management.
  • You follow events on the global financial markets with interest and are enthusiastic about the financial industry.
  • You have very good communication skills in German and English, and your analytical and comprehension skills enable you to grasp and present complex issues.
  • You are ready to solve accounting questions, risk management assignments or valuation topics relating to financial instruments.
