What you'll be doing

We are seeking a passionate Senior Associate Client Manager (m/w/d) Energy Provider / Service Provider to drive strategic alignment for NTT's largest and most engaged clients, helping turn their business visions into reality.

As a global IT service provider, we think and act locally. Our clients include renowned energy providers, grid operators, and regional municipal utilities. With a specialized team of presales, technical experts, and key vendors, you will engage with clients and assist in implementing their specific IT strategies.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Expanding key accounts in the energy and grid operator sectors (EVU, TSO) and large regional municipal utilities.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle: identifying needs, negotiating offers, and closing contracts.
  • Balancing hunting and farming sales approaches.
  • Collaborating with solution sales colleagues to create structured account plans.
  • Enhancing the brand awareness of “NTT Germany Utilities” (e.g., through organizing and hosting customer events).
  • Maintaining vendor and partner networks.
  • Closing framework agreements.
  • Focusing on marketing our core products in Network Integration, Security, Unified Collaboration, Contact Center & Data Center, tailored for energy sector companies and critical infrastructure.
  • Developing customer-specific solutions with technical teams and presenting concepts to clients.
  • Positioning NTT as a reliable advisor in the digital transformation landscape.
What you bring
  • An academic or comparable qualification in business or related fields.
  • Sales experience in IT, preferably with energy providers, service providers, media, or in network solutions, unified collaboration, data centers, or IT security.
  • Possibly an existing network within client environments or with partners like Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, ALE, Checkpoint, MS, Splunk, F5, ServiceNow.
  • A structured, meticulous, results-oriented working style.
  • Strong MS Office skills; knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • Must have: Fluent German and good English skills in speaking and writing.
  • Optional: Experience with tenders, procurement procedures, and public procurement law.
