Senior Application Specialist – O9 (f / m / d)

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What awaits you:

• You focus on the implementation of O9 advanced planning solutions and play a key role in forming the interface between Supply Chain, internal and external IT teams.
• You are the expert for O9 solution configuration and customization, being able to advise the customer on the art-of-the-possible as well as the standard reference model features of O9.
• You design and develop state-of-the-art reports and tenant features to support business team in their daily master planning job throughout the complete Supply Chain.
• As the O9 platform expert you understand the complete data flow and process landscape including the SSIS integration layer, you also have the know-how to identify data issues.
• You demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry best practices, business processes, O9’s solutions, O9 technical architecture.
• You identify any design flaws in the application and coordinate with O9 solutions to fix the issues in a timely manner.
• You are the single point of entry in regards to change requests or enhancements of the application.
• You create and execute workflow and data analytics test cases.
• You work on bugs/issues and track progress using support tools.
• You support key user training and change management towards the business stakeholders.

How you convince us:

• You have a Bachelors degree or Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science and related fields of work.
• You have a deep basic understanding of computer programming, understanding of Supply Chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning and S&OP.
• You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience on o9 applications, knowledge of other planning applications like Quintiq, Blue Yonder is welcome.
• You have excellent knowledge in Python and IBPL.
• You bring expertise and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills in SQL language as well as MS Office.
• Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R / JavaScript / Python is an advantage.
• You bring experience in project management.
• Business fluent in German and English completes your profile.
