In our Payroll Management product team, you will join about 18 colleagues and report to the Head of HR DT Payroll Services. The department provides stable, state-of-the-art solutions to run payroll for major E.ON countries: Germany, UK, Sweden, and Romania. As a Senior Application Engineer SAP HCM Time Management (f/m/d), you will be responsible for implementing and further developing our HCM system to provide the best user experience for our internal E.ON customers.

Activities

  • Consult, implement, test, and document technical requirements in SAP HCM Time Management (mainly Germany, Sweden, UK, and Romania) and technical interfaces within a BizDevOps setup, collaborating closely with the international team.
  • Ensure stable integration with third-party systems (e.g., time terminals, access management).
  • Analyze, support, and implement technical changes in projects such as company foundations, carve-outs, or new collective agreements.
  • Investigate and resolve complex system issues across the HCM landscape, focusing on long-term stability and performance.
  • Contribute to digitalization and AI-driven projects, bringing technical innovation to life.
  • Play an active role in generating ideas and innovations, and handle problem and incident management.

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM Time Management and connected systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to stay focused and effective under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent team spirit, with a user-centric mindset and focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to guide, mentor, and support team development.
  • Fluent in English, with solid communication skills in German (spoken and written).

Team

You will join a team of approximately 18 colleagues located across several locations in Germany and other countries. The department is responsible for providing stable, state-of-the-art payroll solutions for major E.ON countries: Germany, UK, Sweden, and Romania.
