Role Overview

As a Senior Application Developer / Enterprise Architect (m / f / d) for our internal applications and services, you are part of the international IT team and act as a link between internal business stakeholders, developers and the IT operations team. You will work independently and autonomously and report to the Head of IT and the CIO. Solution-oriented thinking and acting is always in focus for you.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design : Define and optimize the architecture of new and existing software for scalability, maintainability, and efficiency
• Software Development : Utilize extensive experience in developing, coding, writing test cases and maintaining complex software applications to collaborate with the team to meet quality standards and requirements
• Technical Leadership : Take a technical leadership role within the development team by managing and guiding junior developers and providing technical expertise
• Problem Solving : Tackle and resolve technical issues, ensure optimal performance and fix challenging bugs or errors in the code.
• Code Review : Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards and quality, providing constructive feedback to developers to ensure a consistent code base

Your Skills and Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Confident demeanor and leadership qualities to lead the development team technically
• Working independently and self-motivated , with a strong capability for rapid learning
• Passionate about creating innovative solutions tailored to internal departments and customers
• Extended experience with one or more programming languages , like Java, C#, Python
• Proficient in German and English, ensuring effective communication across diverse teams
