Overview

DC Advisory is looking to hire a Senior Analyst / Junior Associate for its Capital Advisory Team in Frankfurt. The Capital Advisory Team provides unbiased, independent advice to its clients on capital structure solutions, either in healthy, stressed or distressed situations.

Responsibilities

• Support origination & execution of transactions in the Capital Advisory group which will include debt advisory and corporate restructuring mandates
• Build complex financial models from scratch (LBO model, Project Finance models etc)
• Undertake analysis of company operational and financial performance, capital structure, legal documentation and valuation
• Lead in the drafting & preparation of deal materials including teaser and information memorandums
• Lead in the drafting of marketing materials including pitch books and company research
• Manage team analysts supporting the Deal Team in executing the above responsibilities and act as a quality control on their work product
• Play an integral role within the team supporting senior members in client and lender engagement and in supervising and training junior members of the team
• Work alongside colleagues from M&A advisory teams

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience at a leading investment bank (advisory) or a well-recognised lending institution (institutional lender, private debt firm or commercial bank) working at the Senior Analyst / Junior Associate level (at least 3 years of relevant experience)
• Essential that the applicant can build complex models from scratch to model financing scenarios and company valuations (incl. LBO, PF, DCF)
• Has ability to synthesise and interpret data, and present it in a clear, concise and logical way
• Experience in supervising and teaching junior members of teams
• Highly analytical, motivated with leadership potential
• A hard-working, pro-active, can-do attitude and a willingness to work on a number of transactions at the same time
• Fluency in German and English (oral and written), other languages are a plus
• Exemplary academic results
• Strong attention to detail
