Your purpose at Kertos

You will be part of our AI Product Squad in Berlin, focusing on leveraging AI to enhance the automation and intelligence of our Kertos Platform. As the Product Designer on this squad, you will shape every aspect of user interaction, ensuring intuitive navigation and exceeding user expectations at every touchpoint. What you’ll be doing here:

• Engage in customer discovery to uncover insights and requirements that truly resonate with user needs
• Translate user insights into practical, impactful product features that enhance usability and automate the compliance process
• Design user experiences for AI-powered features—balancing innovation, usability, and ethical transparency to foster trust in automation
• Develop and refine design artifacts to test and improve product features, creating experiences users love
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to co-own user journeys and ensure technical feasibility aligns with excellent UX
• Introduce innovative ideas and perspectives to continually elevate our product's design, functionality, and processes

The skills, motivation, and mindset you should bring

• Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, with proven experience as a Product / UX/UI Designer or similar role
• Experience guiding products from inception to launch, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, including experience with design systems and processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across UI/UX, product management, and engineering teams
• An agile mindset, embracing the dynamic nature of an early-stage startup

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German and experience conducting UX research with German users are highly preferred, ensuring their insights inform our product development.
