Responsibilities

• Develop state-of-the-art models for agricultural, environmental, and biological processes as a Senior Agronomic Modeler.
• Embed these models into decision support systems for crop health management, including pests, diseases, and weeds, and enhance field-specific decision logic for farmers and advisors.
• Drive the global model development, validation, and calibration pipeline automation and train the modeler team.
• Collaborate with agronomy experts and developers worldwide to define development and modeling capabilities.
• Define data needs for model development and validation trials; actively monitor and ensure in-season model performance.

Qualifications

• PhD or master's degree with a proven professional track record.
• Deep knowledge in phytopathology, R&D management, model development, statistics, and relevant analysis methods.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and Java is a plus.
• Basic experience with databases.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
