Zusammenfassung

AND-E, part of the MS&AD Group, seeks an actuary specializing in reserving for motor insurance. You will perform precise reserving calculations, capital modeling and Solvency II tasks across European entities.

You will support the CFO and Board with actuarial advice, contribute to Solvency II governance, risk management and FP&A, and guide reinsurance and underwriting decisions in a growing, international team.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in actuarial science or related field with strong quantitative focus.
• Experience in actuarial reserving, ideally motor.
• Proficiency in Excel and actuarial software (ResQ).
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Handle reserving tasks under local GAAP, IFRS and Solvency II with entities.
• Assist Chief Actuary in advising CFO, Board and Branches.
• Provide Solvency II guidance across the Organisation.
• Support Risk Management, ORSA processes and FP&A.

How You'll Make An Impact

• As part of our growing actuarial team, you are responsible for reserving tasks under local GAAP, IFRS and Solvency II in close collaboration with our Entities.
• Assist our Chief Actuary in providing actuarial advice to the CFO, Board and Branches.
• Advice on Solvency II topics across the Organisation.
• Support Risk Management, ORSA-process, and Planning/FP&A.
• Give guidance regarding reinsurance and underwriting across the Organisation.

What It Takes To Succeed In This Role

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field with strong quantitative focus.
• Qualification from an actuarial body recognised in the EU is an advantage.
• Several years of experience in actuarial reserving (ideally motor), data-oriented tasks, regulatory reporting under Solvency II or similar.
• Competent MS Excel user and experience with actuarial software (preferably ResQ).
• Good team skills, the ability to work collaboratively with fellow colleagues across Europe.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and ideally German, and the ability to move confidently in an international environment.
