Zusammenfassung

AND-E is seeking a proactive finance professional to strengthen financial governance and drive improvements across European entities. You will own governance processes, support closing routines, and contribute to data quality and audit remediation in a dynamic, international team.

You will collaborate with Finance across Europe, advise local teams on standardized accounting practices, and participate in digitalization initiatives leveraging AI and automation to improve efficiency and controls.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 3 years in Accounting or Reporting, preferably in a European environment.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

In this role, you will work closely with Finance teams across Europe, help shape and further develop Finance processes and governance, and contribute your ideas to make the way we work more efficient and future-oriented. How you'll make an impact

• Ensure and further develop Financial Governance across the Finance Community of AND-E SE and TIM SE as well as for relevant Finance IT systems and applications
• Support and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes across European entities and business divisions, including the assessment and technical reconciliation of month-end closing Balance Sheet and Profit-and-Loss calculations
• Monitor and review Finance processes, policies, and internal controls to ensure consistent application of the agreed governance framework and completion of data quality checks and attestations as required by (group) policies and procedures
• Coordinate and monitor internal and external audit findings, ensuring timely implementation and closure of agreed remediation measures / findings
• Conduct and further develop onsite and offsite Finance Process and Data Quality Reviews, ensuring compliance with policies and the Financial Governance Framework
• Advise and guide local Finance teams on standardized accounting processes, policies and Financial Governance requirements
• Develop and maintain guidelines, process documentation, and training concepts to strengthen Finance capabilities and governance awareness across the Finance Community
• Drive continuous process optimization and digitalization by documenting and analysing process and data workflows and leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven and/or (digital) automation IT applications to improve efficiency, control, and data quality

What it takes to succeed in this role

• Relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education and professional experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Accounting or Reporting within an insurance company, ideally in a European environment with multiple local GAAP standards
• Experience in an international audit firm or accounting/governance consultancy is a plus
• Strong business acumen and a high level of initiative, combined with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Solid experience with local GAAP and IFRS consolidation, as well as a broad understanding of financial accounting processes and digitalization/AI applications
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, combined with a commercial mindset and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and international Finance team
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, German is a plus
