Your mission

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Senior Specialist (m/w/d) to optimize our accounting operations. This role involves managing key accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and delivering high-quality financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing financial closing packages (monthly, quarterly, yearly), including consolidated financial statements.
  • Coordinating audits in compliance with IFRS and HGB standards.
  • Reporting financial data to HQ and fulfilling various reporting requirements.
  • Producing monthly closing result reports for the CFO and HQ.
  • Ensuring adherence to closing schedules and plans.
  • Preparing and reviewing closing adjustment reports.
  • Analyzing quarterly results and trends.
  • Overseeing risk management in accounting, tax, and finance.
  • Coordinating sales, costs, and general cost structures for branches and offices.
  • Supervising monthly financial closing activities.
  • Reviewing internal invoices between headquarters and branches.
  • Verifying processes and interface programs related to sales and costs.
  • Coordinating internal contracts and compliance.
Your profile
  • Degree in business administration with a focus on finance or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems.
  • Strong legal and financial compliance knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical skills and understanding of market trends.
  • Expertise in accounting and taxation.
  • Ability to provide accurate and timely financial information.
  • Effective collaboration skills across branches and offices.
  • Fluent in English and German.
