Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Monatliche Berichterstattung gemäß HGB / US-GAAP erstellen.
• Verantwortung für die Pflege des Hauptbuchs.
• Zusammenarbeit mit zentralen Buchhaltungsfunktionen in der Schweiz und den USA.

Primary Function of Position

The Senior Accountant is a member of the Finance and FP&A department responsible for three production sites in Germany and Bulgaria. The position holder is responsible for all aspects of financial accounting and key accounting processes. Position involves approximately 30 % payroll related responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly reporting according to HGB / US-GAAP
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain General Ledger in accordance with Intuitive guidelines and accounting manual
• Monitoring and Settlement of IC Transactions
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Subledger
• Preparation and filing of monthly VAT reporting
• Liaison with external advisors and statutory auditors
• Close collaboration with central accounting functions in Switzerland & USA
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation within our current accounting processes
• Support of the monthly payroll cycle - from data collection to final approval ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee changes
• Ensure annual declarations are filled timely and accurately
• Processing of the insurances & pension registrations and the daily declarations related to sickness accident and other absences
• Employee Business Partner for inquiries related to absences insurances benefits and pension

Qualifications

• Completed commercial education ideally as accountant or academic degree with financial and accounting focus
• 5 years professional experience in accounting within multinational work environment
• HGB knowledge required and knowledge in US-GAAP of advantage
• Strong communication skills fluent in German and English
• Excellent expertise in MS Office and SAP FI
• Experience in Datev Lohn und Gehalt as a plus
• Strong analytical skills and numerical affinity
• Ability to work independently and across teams whilst keeping open communication with key stakeholders
• Highly customer-focused approach and developed analytical skills with positive can-do attitude
