We are currently recruiting for one of our clients a:

Senior Accountant - Italian Speaker (M / F)

OUR CLIENT

As a forward-thinking and independent financial services firm, our client provides tailored solutions in domiciliation, fund administration, accounting, tax compliance, and more. They foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and growth.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of companies, overlooking A to Z transactions including maintenance of accurate accounting records, cashbook entries, expenses, and payroll record keeping and posting of all necessary month/year-end transactions.
2. Analysis of legal documentation (sales or purchase agreements, loan agreements, etc.).
3. You will be responsible for preparing annual accounts according to Lux GAAP, tax returns, periodic and annual VAT returns, and regulatory returns (BCL reports).
4. Handling inquiries from auditors, clients, and tax authorities, as well as addressing internal accounting-related issues, will be part of your responsibilities.
5. You will have the opportunity to work with various clients.
6. Reporting on client needs and demands will be essential.
7. Assisting with other accounting projects to improve the efficiency of the accounting processes will be part of your job, including guidance to the junior Accountant(s).
8. You will stay informed of accounting, regulatory, tax, and legal changes which impact the job role and advise management on needed actions.
9. Your mission will be to develop our business activity in our Italian office and establish connections with Luxembourg.

The profile we are looking for:

1. Diploma in Accounting, Audit, or Finance.
2. 5 years of professional experience in a fiduciary.
3. Familiarity with Luxembourg GAAP and Bob50.
4. Italian native speaker and fluent in English and French.
5. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
6. Proactive and initiative-driven.
7. High level of autonomy.
8. Organized and methodical approach.
9. A high degree of flexibility is required due to frequent travel to Italy.
10. Effective task prioritization and workload management.
