Your responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with German GAAP (HGB).
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Perform account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
• Serve as a key contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to the development and digitalization of accounting processes and systems.
• Collaborate closely with an international finance team working under both HGB and IFRS frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in general ledger accounting within the German market (HGB).
• Strong and up-to-date knowledge of HGB accounting principles.
• Confident user of ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Structured, independent, and analytical working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Intermediate German language skills (B1 minimum) to read and understand accounting documentation and communicate effectively.
• Fluent English skills to collaborate within an international team.
• Team player with good communication skills and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment.
