Zusammenfassung

A recruitment agency is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to manage the general ledger for multiple legal entities and lead close processes. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and French, along with strong Excel skills, is required. Job Description :

This is a key role within the organization, supporting the integrity of our financial operations in a multi-entity, international environment.

As Senior GL Accountant, you are responsible for :

Managing the general ledger for multiple legal entities across jurisdictions

Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Preparing complex journal entries, reconciliations, and statutory reporting

Supporting audit preparation and group consolidated reporting

Collaborating with investment, tax, legal, and treasury teams

Contributing to process improvements and system enhancements

Candidate Profile :

You have a Degree in Accounting

You have minimum 5years of relevant working experience in Accounting. Experience as Trust Accountant would be considered as an asset.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French

You are computer literate and have a strong knowledge of Excel

You have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise efficiently

Ability to work on own initiative and to be highly disciplined
