10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are looking for knowledgeable senior accountants and auditors based in the EU or UK to enhance the accuracy, depth, and real‑world relevance of AI‑powered financial systems.

As a freelance reviewer, you will assess AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, compliance, and practical relevance, draft realistic scenarios from your experience, and create variations from multiple perspectives.

Qualifications

• Seasoned EU/UK accountant or auditor with extensive experience.
• Experience advising on financial statements, audits and reports.
• Ability to evaluate financial documents and regulatory compliance.
• Available for 8–20 hours per week with prompt availability.

What You Will Do

• Review and refine AI‑generated outputs related to accounting, audit procedures, financial documentation, and practical aspects of accountancy work

• Evaluate AI responses for financial accuracy, practicality, and compliance with real‑world requirements

• Draft realistic accounting and audit scenarios based on your direct professional experience

In simple terms:
You will assess and improve AI‑generated content, ensuring it reflects true accounting and audit reasoning, authentic documentation, and practical procedures. Rather than conducting traditional accounting or audit work, you’ll apply your expertise to help AI systems understand and reason about accountancy and audit processes at scale.

Who You Are

• A senior‑level accountant or auditor with significant professional experience within the EU or UK

• Experienced in advising on, preparing, and executing financial statements, audits, and reports

• Skilled at evaluating financial documentation, audit methodologies, and regulatory compliance

• Comfortable working independently and providing structured, critical feedback

• Available for 8–20 hours per week, with prompt availability

The missions listed for AI Lab roles are not traditional job openings. AI Lab work is often highly confidential as this exposes information of what an AI Lab is working on, and project requests are unpredictable. When an AI Lab request comes in, we often need to respond within 24 hours with suitable talent.

Matching depends on the specific needs of each AI Lab project and your niche expertise. Once your profile is reviewed and approved, you may be matched to relevant AI Lab projects when suitable opportunities arise.

This can happen within hours, but it may also take months, depending on the researchers at the AI labs and their project needs.
