About the Role

We're looking for a colleague to join our Accounting & Tax team who will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and support key financial processes and projects.
Your Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant bookkeeping in daily operations.
• You independently handle the classification and posting of ongoing business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting, including regular account maintenance, reconciliation, and clarification.
• You also support the processing of electronic payments and bank postings and prepare VAT returns.
• You support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (UGB).
• You continuously improve processes in your area of responsibility and contribute to the automation and digitalization of our company.
• You prepare special analyses and statistics and act as a point of contact for auditors and banks.
• You are an important part of group-wide projects.

Who You Are:

• Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, completed training as a certified accountant or tax clerk
• At least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Several years of experience in financial accounting and financial reporting
• Strong numerical understanding and quick comprehension
• High level of reliability, motivation, and personal responsibility
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Good experience with SAP (S4 Hana)
• High attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken
• Good English skills
