At CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions, we're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Frankfurt. In this role, you'll play a key part in financial reporting, treasury operations, and client equity coordination across a diverse portfolio of real estate investments.

About the Role:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and client reporting packages.
  • Analyze and compile financial data, reviewing P&L calculations and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Manage daily treasury, cash management, and accounting operations for the portfolio.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, post journal entries, and ensure accurate transaction recording.
  • Coordinate with banks and financial institutions on financing arrangements and loan execution.
  • Troubleshoot accounting issues and respond to internal and external client requests with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Participate in system testing and implementation projects.
  • Apply deep knowledge of accounting principles to deliver innovative solutions and handle complex assignments.
  • Mentor junior team members and share expertise across disciplines.
  • Lead by example, embodying CBRE's RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence).
  • Collaborate across teams to support operational and project-based initiatives.
What You'll Need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a fund or real estate environment.
  • Strong judgment and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a curious, solution-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
  • Solid understanding of financial calculations, including percentages, fractions, and reconciliations.
