As a Senior Account Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor and customer advocate at Maltego, helping our customers succeed and maximize their ROI. Your main focus will be on maintaining customer satisfaction, managing public sector accounts, and ensuring successful renewals, up-sells, and cross-sells. You will collaborate with our Enablement, Data Hub, Sales, and Marketing teams to understand our product roadmap, relay customer feedback, and ensure it reaches the relevant teams effectively.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Owning an account portfolio of Government clients, accountable for each customer's performance.
  • Managing the full customer journey from onboarding and adoption to renewal and expansion to ensure success at every stage.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifying customer risks by monitoring key metrics and signals, and developing tailored mitigation plans.
  • Identifying growth opportunities within your portfolio to drive up- and cross-sell efforts.
  • Developing and executing success and strategic account plans to drive value and expansion.
  • Collaborating with internal teams across sales, success services, and product to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

Your profile in short

  • Bachelor’s degree with an interest or background in cybersecurity, law enforcement, or trust and safety.
  • 7+ years in a B2B Account Management role, preferably in software or cybersecurity.
  • Experience in strategic account management, developing retention and expansion plans, working closely with end users and decision-makers.
  • Ability to develop clear action plans to achieve meaningful business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with negotiation and value-based selling experience, and a customer-centric mindset.
  • A problem solver with a goal-oriented attitude, willing to remove obstacles and advocate for customers.
  • Business and sales-minded, seeking win/win solutions to grow opportunities.
  • Proficiency with software tools, including Microsoft Office, CRM (Salesforce), and account management tools.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
