As aSenior Account Executive, you’ll play a critical role in driving new business and growing our presence in German-speaking markets. You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing high-value enterprise customers who need a scalable, data-driven solution to comply with EUDR requirements.
This is a quota-carrying role with strategic impact — you'll be helping businesses take decisive steps toward compliant and sustainable operations.
Lead the full sales cycle: From discovery to closing — with a strong focus on value-based selling to compliance, ESG, procurement, and sustainability leaders.
Educate and consult: Be a trusted advisor on EUDR, helping customers understand the regulatory implications and how TradeAware supports scalable compliance.
Manage complex stakeholders: Navigate mid- to enterprise-level buying groups, including C-level decision-makers.
Drive pipeline growth: Leverage your network and outbound initiatives to generate new opportunities in the DACH region.
Collaborate with GTM teams: Work closely with Solutions Engineers, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a world-class experience.
Represent TradeAware at events: Speak at webinars, attend trade expos, and contribute to thought leadership on EUDR and deforestation-free supply chains.
5+ years of B2B SaaS or solution selling experience, ideally with exposure to ESG, compliance, logistics, or supply chain domains.
Proven success in closing complex deals with enterprise clients across Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
Native-level German and fluent English communication skills — written and spoken.
Strong understanding of consultative selling, value based selling and MEDDPICC.
Ability to translate complex technical products into compelling business value for senior stakeholders.
A passion for sustainability, supply chains, or regulatory tech is a big plus.
Knowledge of EUDR, ESG reporting standards, deforestation regulations, or traceability frameworks is a plus.
Experience selling to verticals like food & beverage, retail, timber, agriculture, or commodities trading is a plus.
Background in remote-first, high-growth SaaS startups is a plus.
