What you'll do:

The (Senior-) Account Executive (f/m/d) role involves:

  • Managing strategic accounts and positioning SAP as a digitalization partner for public administration at political and technical levels. Leading an AE team to develop and implement strategic plans to ensure growth and revenue targets. Understanding customer landscapes and devising market strategies.
  • Managing demand generation, pipeline, and opportunities efficiently within a team.
  • Conducting White Space analysis to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities. Collaborating with consulting and partners to control cloud and license opportunities. Staying informed about competitors and maintaining accurate CRM data.
  • Leading remote and cross-functional teams to align with customer objectives. Developing team talent and maximizing efficiency.
What you bring:
  • Experience in sales of complex business software/IT solutions, preferably in the public sector.
  • Proven success in software sales and team-selling environments.
  • Ability to handle large transactions and long sales cycles.
  • Strong negotiation skills, especially in renewals and upsells.
  • Team leadership experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in German and Business English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking.
  • Executive presence and results orientation.
  • Ability to work across teams in a matrix organization.
