A leading insurance technology company is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive merchant sign-ups across Europe. In this remote-first role, you will build relationships within the retail sector, develop sales strategies, and ensure successful outcomes from lead to contract. The position requires strong communication skills and a solid background in enterprise sales, offering a dynamic work environment with flexible hours and substantial vacation days.
We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to sign up new merchants for hakuna´s embedded product insurance platform across Europe. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with leading retail organizations, and helping them grow their margins by offering relevant product insurances to consumers at checkout.
You'll need to be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of success in enterprise sales with long sales cycles. Sales professionalism, an entrepreneurial “can-do” attitude and a natural authority will propel successful candidates to a stellar career in a new upcoming industry with endless opportunities.
Develop and execute a sales plan that meets or exceeds partner signup targets
Navigate Euope´s leading retail organizations and build relationships with key stakeholders
Find and promote internal champions within partner organizations and help them prioritize our project in their organizations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless partner experience
Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing
Track and report on performance metrics and provide regular updates to the executive team
At least 2-3 years of experience in enterprise sales, with a focus on the retail sector
Proven track record of success in handling extended sales cycles of one year or longer
Strong communication skills and an ability to forge relationship networks in complex organizations
Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to execute on sales plans
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
You command fluent English and German or another European language
