To strengthen our exocad ML/AI team in Darmstadt, we are looking for a

Senior 3D Machine Learning Scientist (m/w/d)

Start date: 01.09.2024 or later

We seek a talented individual to contribute to our dental software solutions by improving 3D machine learning models, designing new algorithms, and collaborating with dental professionals to incorporate domain knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and enhancing machine learning models for 3D tooth shape generation, including data pipelines and model training.
• Optimizing algorithms for speed and robustness.
• Collaborating with dental experts to embed domain insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in informatics or related field.
• Strong background in Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, or Machine Learning.
• 5+ years experience with Python and libraries like PyTorch3D, trimesh, pymeshlab, open3d, libigl, numpy, opencv, scikit-learn, scipy.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, MLOps, unit testing.
• Experience with 3D geometric ML architectures and neural networks such as AE, VAE, MLP, CNN, transformer, GAN, diffusion models.

Preferred skills:

• C++ experience.
• Experience with TensorFlow, parallel computing, mathematical optimization, cloud deployment (AWS, Docker).
