This position reports to

Head of Segment Management ELSB/ELSP Germany

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead strategic marketing and sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the residential segment Germany. Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment. The work model for the role is: remote. You will report to the Head of Segment Management Electrification Smart Building and Smart Power / Germany.

  1. Developing the segment specific strategy and leading the residential segment excellence team and reinforces global sales efficiency and performance.
  2. Building relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leverages ABB’s strengths to capture new business opportunities.
  3. Driving and ensuring knowledge sharing and cross-division and cross-country collaborations.
  4. Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify segment trends in residential industries, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.
Qualifications for the role
  • Possess enhanced knowledge of Quality Assurance & Excellence.
  • Degree in industrial engineering and management.
  • You are at ease communicating in English and German.
  • You are engaged in working with relevant tools and methodologies.
