Come and join our team as Segment Manager – High Temperature Insulation (HTI). This is an exciting opportunity that focuses on the refractory market in Germany.

The role is fully remote, with regular travel across Germany and some travel to Austria and Switzerland.

What you’ll do :

  1. Sell and promote the company's range of HTI products to meet area sales & revenue targets for the Business Unit and Division.
  2. Target refractory markets such as steel and glass production factories.
  3. Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, considering all communication mediums and routes to market.
  4. Manage selected segmentation A customers with the ambition of nurturing growth in revenue and margin terms.
  5. Collaborate with other segment managers to ensure alignment between customer value propositions and segment strategies.
  6. Identify potential customer targets and build a pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring all pipeline activity is accurately recorded and updated within CRM.
  7. Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction with products, solutions, and services.
  8. Develop trusting and sustainable long-term relationships through Key Account Management.
  9. Establish the technical and commercial needs of the customer to provide sustainable, competitive, and value-added solutions.
  10. Work alongside the technical support team to build a comprehensive understanding of the company products to offer appropriate and valuable solutions to the customer.
  11. Contribute to and develop sales plans to achieve sales goals, increase market share, and secure long-term growth.
  12. Track progress against targets on an ongoing basis & take necessary action to refocus efforts if targets are not being met.

What you’ll bring :

  1. Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the construction industry, preferably within the HTI business segment.
  2. Ability to develop and sustain a strong professional network, influencing and developing solid working relationships.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as effective prioritization and organizational skills with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  4. A technical background is advantageous; an engineering/technical qualification is desirable.
  5. Willingness to travel within the region and deliver on sales targets while working remotely.
  6. Fluency in German and English is a must.
